Jon VanGesen is the ONLY candidate with experience in investigating, dismantling, and prosecuting street level drug dealers, AND large International drug trafficking organizations. VanGesen has spent more than 15 years as a narcotics detective, Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force officer, and Commander in charge of a multi-jurisdictional regional drug task force dismantling these illegal organizations.

As a result of VanGesen and his co-workers’ efforts, hundreds of defendants have been convicted, thousands of pounds of methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, ecstasy, and marijuana have been removed from our streets. Millions of dollars of cash and assets from drug proceeds have been seized.

VanGesen has been an Instructor for: Drug Investigations, High-Risk Event Planning, Methamphetamine Laboratory Recognition, and writing Search Warrants. VanGesen has been recognized in both State and Federal Court as an expert in Drug Investigations.

In one of the thousands of drug cases, Jon VanGesen was requested by another agency to assist. During surveillance, VanGesen uncovered valuable information and passed it along to the officer investigating the case. As a result an arrest was made of the drug trafficking suspect. Officers located more than 1.4 MILLION dollars in cash. VanGesen’s agency was given a check for $300,000 for his assistance. Over the course of his career, VanGesen has been involved in the seizure of more than $1,000,000 in cash and assets from drug proceeds. The drug money seized has been used by law enforcement to further other drug investigations for many years.
